Irish rappers Kneecap have denied supporting Hamas and Hezbollah and apologized to the families of two slain U.K. lawmakers after remarks that sparked anger.

Now, Kneecap – made up of rappers Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh and Naoise Ó Cairealláin and beat-maker JJ Ó Dochartaigh – have responded with a statement posted to their Instagram page, addressing their alleged support of Hamas, Hezbollah, and promoting violence against British MPs.

The husband of murdered MP Jo Cox has called on Kneecap to give a "real apology" after footage emerged of the band allegedly calling for MPs to be killed. It comes after the band defended themselves and posted an apology to the families of murdered MPs Jo Cox and Sir David Amess in a statement on X on Monday night.
