Jason Momoa worked behind and in front of the camera on an epic retelling of the story of the unification of Hawaii.

The actress, who broke out in "The Night Agent," stars with the predominantly Polynesian cast in the historical drama about the unification of the Hawaiian islands from an indigenous perspective.

“If we don’t get it right, we don't get to come home,” Jason Momoa says of bringing Hawaiian history to life in his new show, Chief of War. He continues, “It has to be on point. There’s no doubt about it.”
