Former MSU golfer Brooke Biermann finishes as runner-up at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship
BANDON, Ore. (WILX) - Recent Michigan State graduate Brooke Biermann battled for 33 holes on Sunday but fell to Stanford University’s Megha Ganne, 4 and 3, in the final round of the USGA Women’s Amateur Championship at Bandon Dunes in Oregon.
Biermann's runner-up finish is the highest by a Michigan State golfer since James Piot won the Men's Amateur in 2021.
