Two people are confirmed dead stemming from a domestic-related shooting early Tuesday in south Minneapolis. Minneapolis police released few details about what happened in the 100 block of E. 59th Street just after 12:30 a.m. In addition to the two fatalities, one person was hit by gunfire and injured, police said.

Minneapolis Police Department says the shooting was reported at an apartment building on the 100 block of East 59th Street in the Windom neighborhood at 12:37 p.m., with officers arriving to find a man and a woman – both in their 20s – dead and a woman in her 40s with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The Minneapolis Police Department gave few other details about the shooting, which happened on the 100 block of 59th Street East just before 12:40 a.m.
