MSU's men's basketball team will play at UConn in a preseason game on Oct. 28, part of a series, with UConn playing an exhibition at MSU next season.

UConn has to a home-and-home exhibition series with Michigan State, beginning on Oct. 28, 2025 in Connecticut. The Huskies will return the game in East Lansing on a date to be determined in 2026.

Michigan State finished 30-7 last season and reached the Elite Eight round, landing both plateaus for the first time since 2018-19. With Izzo coming off his fourth Big Ten Coach of the Year title, the Spartans retain Jeremy Fears Jr. and Jaxon Kohler, their respective leaders in assists and rebounds.
