Pakistan has formally recommended US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing his “decisive diplomatic intervention” after a spike in violence between India and Pakistan earlier this year.

Posting on Truth Social on Friday night, Trump cited a peace deal he said his administration helped broker between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
