PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a man accused of vandalizing a high-end steakhouse in Providence Thursday afternoon. Edward Barlog, 43, has been charged with vandalism after he caused “significant damage” to the Capital Grille, according to a city spokesperson.

A manager at the Hotel Providence confirmed a car struck the Mathewson Street building just before 1:30 a.m. Despite the damage, the manager said the hotel is still open.
