If the game ends up postponed, it could create a real scheduling bind for the teams as this is the Rangers’ only scheduled trip to Yankee Stadium. The obvious choice for rescheduling would be Sept. 11, an off day for the Rangers ahead of a series at the New York Mets, but the Yankees are scheduled to play that day against Detroit.
