Liverpool and Red Bull Salzburg have agreed to terminate Stefan Bajcetic’s loan spell with the Spanish midfielder set to join Las Palmas for the rest of the season. The former Celta Vigo youngster had been expected to stay at Salzburg until after the Club World Cup in June with no January recall clause in the initial deal agreed last summer.

Liverpool have activated their recall option to end Stefan Bajcetic ‘s loan at Salzburg, with the midfielder now spending the rest of the season in his native Spain. Bajcetic came off the bench in Salzburg’s 4-1 loss to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, marking the end of their Champions League campaign after just one win in eight games.
