Just a day after the nearly 500-acre Lake Fire ripped through brush near Silverwood Lake, firefighters once again issued evacuation orders for another San Bernardino County community on Sunday. The Cable Fire,

Cable Fire initially started 3:28 p.m. June 29 in San Bernardino County, California. After being active for 14 hours, it has burned 13 acres. By Monday morning, the fire crew succeeded in containing 15% of the wildfire. The cause of it remains under investigation.

The Lake Fire broke out around 4 p.m. according to Cal Fire, near Silverwood lake in San Bernardino County. At last check, the fire had spread to 485 acres with 25% of it contained. Firefighters stopped the forward spread of Lake Fire on Sunday after there were initial fears that it could have spread to more than 1,000 acres.
