Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson on Wednesday told reporters that the upper chamber will not be able to pass President Donald Trump's legislative package by the July 4 deadline. The comment comes amid infighting between Republican holdouts over the president's "one big, beautiful bill," which passed the House last month.

Ron Johnson has been among the loudest Senate critics of the budget bill that narrowly passed the House last month.
