Elon Musk hit back at President Trump’s claim that he didn’t want to strip the mogul’s companies of his government subisidies. Trump seemingly extended an olive branch after the public falling out between the two by denying reports that he had it out for Musk.

Once and future political kingmaker Elon Musk is dreaming of starting a third political party to seize the high ground from both Democrats and Republicans. Could he do it, and have there been historical examples of successful third parties in American politics?

The president said in a Truth Social post that he wanted Musk's businesses to "THRIVE like never before."
