Former Broncos' edge rusher Von Miller has joined the Washington Commanders, but he'll face his former team in Week 13.
The NFL is a young man's game. Sure, quarterbacks often play into their mid-30s or even early-40s, but if a player is the wrong side of 30 in most other positions, he's beyond his prime. Thirty years old is considered ancient for running backs.
Can Miller provide pass rush help? Dante Fowler was the only Commanders player to top 10 sacks last season, but he has since signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Washington did, however, sign Deatrich Wise, Javon Kinlaw and Jacob Martin as free agents to bolster the defensive line. Miller will now join that group.
Von Miller remains unsigned as training camps approach, but a trio of NFL teams are interested in his signature.
