Replace "yellow" with the specific color that you want to apply or with the color's HTML code. Click "Update Preview" and "Save" to add the new colored background.

Place your cursor over the post you want to change the background color of. Click the "Edit" link that appears beneath the post's title. Click the "HTML" tab above the post's editor toolbox.
