The goal Penguins goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic scored during a 5-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night, naturally, was unassisted. He picked up a puck dumped in by Sabres forward Peyton Krebs and threw it the length of the ice for the 19th goalie goal in NHL history.
Not only did Nedeljkovic become the first goalie in NHL history to have a goal and an assist in the same game, but he also made 40 saves to lead the Penguins to a 5-2 win over the Sabres.
