Gavin DeGraw, best known for his song "I Don't Want to Be," which became the theme for "One Tree Hill," said he was proud to support President Trump at his inauguration.

In addition to DeGraw, Carrie Underwood, Lee Greenwood, Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, the Village People, Jason Aldean and Rascal Flatts, among others, are set to perform at various Washington, D.C., venues.

He doesn’t want to be anywhere else but there. Gavin DeGraw is reflecting on his latest gig. The singer, 47, took to social media to share his gratitude after performing during the Starlight Ball as part of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Most Americans are probably familiar with the pomp and circumstance of the swearing-in ceremony and presidential parade of a inauguration, but there is a full day of events for the new president and vice president and their families.

Under the Constitution’s 20th Amendment, the newly elected president of the United States takes office on Jan. 20 (unless that’s a Sunday, in which case it moves to Jan. 21). For Trump’s (second) big day, the pomp and circumstance will include performances by Carrie Underwood and the Village People, a military parade, and formal balls.

Trump will attend a signing room ceremony, followed by an inaugural luncheon in Statuary Hall. He then will review the troops on the east front of the Capitol. The parade will take place in Capitol One Arena, where Trump has invited attendees to also watch the swearing-in ceremony.

Eight years ago, it was mostly family and elected officials behind Trump as he took the oath of office. This time fellow billionaires will surround him.
