Nineteen orbital rockets launched from Florida's Space Coast during January and February, accelerating the 2025 Eastern Range schedule to a record-breaking pace that would topple last year's record of 93 annual liftoffs.

The spectacle came after SpaceX's Starship rocket suffered a failure during ascent, sending fragments into the atmosphere.

Video showed the upper stage of the most powerful rocket ever built spinning out of control in space, a repeat of an unsuccessful test flight in January that led to debris falling over the Caribbean.
