Houston Astros' top prospect Cam Smith among non-roster invitees to spring training

Touted infield prospect Cam Smith will be among the non-roster players invited to major-league spring training, the Houston Astros announced Friday. Smith, 21, was acquired by the Astros in the trade of Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs this offseason and immediately became Houston’s top-rated prospect by some outside evaluations.
