The Buffalo Sabres will complete their four-game Western road swing in Edmonton on Saturday afternoon, in hopes of going .500 on the trip. The Sabres entered the third period of their contest against the Calgary Flames on Thursday tied but allowed three goals in a 5-2 loss at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Pelletier, who was named the Scotiabank Saddledome's first star, powered the Flames with one goal and two points in the 5-2 victory. His strong play earned him a promotion mid-game, being elevated to the top line alongside veterans Jonathan Huberdeau and Kadri - a role he's set to reprise this evening when the Flames take on the Wild in Minnesota.

• Based on Saturday’s morning skate, the Flames will stick with a new-look top line of Huberdeau, Nazem Kadri and Jakob Pelletier.
