Pigs that were illegally released in the Cairngorms are captured and culled - A gamekeeping organisation has condemned what it described as ‘guerilla rewilding’.

The wild boar have been seen in the same area where four lynx were spotted - and recaptured - after being dumped last month.

Sightings of the group were reported around Insh and Glen Feshie on Monday. A group of feral pigs have been put down after being illegally released in the Highlands. The animals were first seen in the Uath Lochans area of the Cairngorms National Park on Monday

Rangers are battling to round up a large group of feral pigs thought to have been deliberately released in a national park. Around 20 of the boar have been spotted in woodlands in Cairngorms National Park in Scotland recently.
