The Madison County school district is adding a new middle school in Hazel Green to help with the rapid growth in the area.

The Madison County Board of Education approved the construction bid for a new middle school in Hazel on Thursday.

Two new programs, iWill Academy and Brighter Futures Mentorship, collaborate to improve student behavior and performance in Pee Dee middle schools, showing positive results.
