Happy birthday Pauline! She goes by Pearl and also turned 75 on March 10. Pearl lives in Greensboro and she enjoys spending time with her son, daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On Pauline’s birthday, her daughter Rita Wright Craddock posted pictures of the old toy store, which was located in 177E. 2nd Street, on a local Facebook group, and former customers commented.

Pauline Legare has lived a storied life: she was a teacher, raised three children, is a grandmother and great-grandmother, worked for a U.S. president and served a famous Georgetown family.
