Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will be placed on injured reserve and miss at least the next four games with a knee injury. Butker underwent surgery to trim the meniscus in his left knee, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

After placing Butker on their injured reserve list, the Chiefs signed rookie kicker Spencer Shrader off the New York Jets’ practice squad. Shrader should be expected to see action in all of Kansas City’s games while Butker is on the mend.
