The Kansas City metro will stay mostly dry on Saturday. Rain is expected this afternoon in areas south of I-70. Some may see some sunshine in the late afternoon.
The Trump administration canceled federal grants that were funding vaccine education and awareness efforts in the Kansas City area.
Next week is drier and brings more sunshine, starting with highs in the 50s on Monday. Another freeze could occur Monday night, but warmer 60s and 70s are back starting Tuesday.
