For the first time, Shohei Ohtani will pitch against his old team Wednesday night as he and the Los Angeles Dodgers look to avoid a sweep at the hands of their crosstown rival LA Angels.

Shohei Ohtani is normally used to hitting long home runs, but the MLB star found himself in a weird position against the Angels.

Ohtani later hit a home run. According to Sportscenter, it was the first time a player had hit into a triple play and hit a homer in the same game since 2016, when Freddie Freeman did it for the Braves. Freeman, of course, is now Ohtani's teammate on the Dodgers.
