Americans trust that the food they buy in grocery stores is safe. But that is not always the case. A number of nationwide food recalls have made headlines over the last year. First, a listeria outbreak in Boar's Head deli meat killed 10 people.

A Miami-based company that makes baby food sold under a Target store brand is recalling over 25,000 packages of a product that may contain elevated levels of lead.

Target recalled 26,500 units of Good & Gather baby Pea, Zucchini, Kale & Thyme Vegetable Purèe for elevated lead levels.
