Much of the country is forecast to see warmer-than-average temperatures and drought conditions this spring, according to NOAA.

After last weeks freeze, Tennesseans can look forward to some warmer temperatures this springs, according to the latest NOAA predictions.

NOAA predicts a drier spring for the Southwest and wetter season for the Northwest and Appalachia. Punxsutawney Phil may have signaled six more weeks of winter, but the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has its own predictions for spring.

With meteorological winter almost at its end, NOAA has released its seasonal forecast looking ahead to March, April, and May.

Above-normal temperatures are expected throughout Texas, with the highest likelihood of warm weather across the southern half of the state.
