A Trump administration investigation has found Harvard University in “violent violation” of the Civil Rights Act, once more escalating its battle with the school days after President Donald Trump suggested a deal was in sight to end its targeting of the university.

The investigation over Harvard’s treatment of Jewish and Israeli students is the latest in the battle between the White House and the university.

While civil rights divisions of previous Republican administrations have primarily aimed to slow down left-wing activity, the Trump administration is on offense.
