Days of relentless rain have flooded roads and downed trees across Sonoma County, forcing multiple closures. As of 9:30 a.m. Friday, at least 20 roads were closed due to storm damage, according to Sonoma County’s road closure map, including:

A flood advisory was issued by the NWS San Francisco CA on Thursday at 2:59 p.m. in effect until Friday at midnight for Sonoma County.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday evening issued an evacuation order for low lying areas along the Russian River, the office announced just before 6 p.m.

Flooding coupled with saturated soils and landslides triggered by Tuesday’s drenching rain, has caused multiple road closures across the region.
