Candidates to succeed Thomas Bach as president of the International Olympic Association have outlined their views on transgender athletes competing against women and in the Olympic Games, an issue that was the subject of an executive order issued by U.

President Donald Trump is ready to take his fight against transgender athletes to the International Olympic Committee.

In a speech before signing the document, Trump said he wants the International Olympic Committee to change everything “having to do with this absolutely ridiculous subject.”
