Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Tuesday franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud is continuing to manage shoulder soreness and is not throwing during OTAs. Ryans said Stroud's soreness in his right throwing shoulder is "general" and is not expected to be a long-term situation.

C.J. Stroud is the foundation of the Houston Texans. Hence, when the QB skipped throwing drills, people panicked. DeMeco Ryans has cleared the air on the NFL star's shoulder situation.

Despite being in the NFL for just two years, C.J. Stroud has already led the Texans to four postseason appearances, making him one of the most promising young players in the league today.
