F or the first time this year, Vikings fans filled the bleachers at TCO Performance Center on Saturday afternoon. Those who braved the heat and came out to watch their favorite team practice were treated to a show by the 22-year-old quarterback who holds so much of the franchise's future on his shoulders.

The performance of J.J. McCarthy during Minnesota Vikings training camp is going to be the biggest focus, and it's not much of a surprise. McCarthy was the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and he only got to spend a few weeks practicing before tearing his meniscus in the first preseason game.
