Drivers were encouraged to avoid the area for a scheduled traffic signal outage at Fire Mountain Way and Northeast E Street in Grants Pass on Monday night.

A fire destroyed an unoccupied RV in Pickett Creek early Wednesday morning. Local fire crews responded, containing the flames.
