Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday blamed decades-long “lack of investments” in subway infrastructure for hellish service meltdowns this week amid stifling heat and torrential downpours.

Last year, South Florida's community rail line served roughly 4.4 million riders, the first time Tri-Rail exceeded 4 million riders since 2019.
