Twin Falls City Code permits yard sale signs to be placed only on private property with owner permission. Signs are not allowed in areas where the public has right-of-way such as sidewalks.

Others are unaware of the ordinance. Rules for yard sale signs aren’t many. Generally, they need to be 10 feet from the street and be on private property with the property owner’s permission.

An annual yard sale that draws hundreds of shoppers and raises thousands of dollars for local nonprofits is coming again on June 21 and 22.

The Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center in Troy will host “A Community Yard Sale for a Cause” on Friday, June 27 and June 28 from 7 a.m. until noon at the CAC at 118 West Orange Street in Troy.
