Alex Pereira won’t train with Jon Jones anytime soon – just in case. UFC light heavyweight champion Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) previously expressed interest in sharing the mats with heavyweight champ Jones (28-1 MMA, 22-1 UFC), but has now changed his tune.

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira previously said he wanted to train with heavyweight champ Jon Jones ahead of Jones’ title defense against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. Now, it appears Pereira doesn’t think that’s the best idea.
