After a shock defeat last time out in the EPL, Liverpool boss Arne Slot will be looking for a response from his side at Anfield today as they host Bournemouth.  The Reds suffered an early setback to their title challenge last Saturday as they slipped to a 0-1 loss at home to Nottingham Forest,

During the week Arne Slot took charge of this first European match as Liverpool manager and defeated AC Milan at the San Siro in a confidence-building comeback victory. The Reds will now be hoping to take that form into today’s encounter with the Cherries and move themselves up the Premier League table.

The Spaniard wants his Cherries to be brave and open to taking risks with or without the ball. Molded in a similar fashion to Jurgen Klopp’s teams, Bournemouth has no fear of pressing any team high up the pitch. In previous seasons, this would be welcome news for Liverpool.
