Browns rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, their third-round pick out of Oregon, signed his rookie contract just hours after wrapping up organized team activities practice No. 5, one in which he went first in some key team drills.

In the Big Ten Championship, they defeated Penn State to earn the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoff. They were led by transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Gabriel had big shoes to fill after Bo Nix nearly willed the Ducks into the playoff the season prior.
