Bayer Leverkusen delivered a ruthless first-half performance, striking three times in just seven minutes, to leave hosts Eintracht Frankfurt reeling with a 4-1 victory in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Xabi Alonso's team set the pace from the start and steadily gained control of the game. Granit Xhaka played a key role in orchestrating Leverkusen's attacks, and his sharp vision led to the opening goal in the 26th minute.

The game started off very lively but as time went on Leverkusen gained a strong control of the game and it was only a matter of time before they opened the scoring and that game when a Frankfurt clearance landed at Granit Xhaka who threaded the ball through to Nathan Tella to equalise.
