An attorney representing Kimberly Sullivan of Waterbury, accused of imprisoning her stepson for more than 20 years, said the release risks potential bias.

The attorney for the Waterbury woman who allegedly held her stepson captive for 20 years is requesting that the Waterbury Police Department preserve "any and all information relating to the release of any and all evidence in this case.

The photos show extensive fire damage to parts of the home. The man reportedly told firefighters, "I wanted my freedom," when he set the room on fire.
