Wall Street moves higher on Friday as investors digest the previous session’s record-setting finishes for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite.

The S&P increased by more than 0.6% on Monday afternoon to a record intraday high of 6,336, while the Nasdaq rose up to nearly 0.8% to an intraday record of 21,077 before both indexes pared gains back slightly.

The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq hit record highs on Thursday as major technology stocks rose after megacap Alphabet's robust earnings, while the Dow was weighed down by losses in IBM, UnitedHealth, and Honeywell.
