ASU players and Arizona natives will compete this weekend in Carlsbad, California, for the NCAA Division I men’s golf championships.

Texas Tech golf is ranked No. 24 and seeded No. 19 going into the NCAA championships at the Omni La Costa North Course in Carlsbad, California.

Penfield, New York - Alexander Papajohn shot a final round 71 to finish in a tie for 20th place at the NCAA Divsion III Men's Golf Championship. Papajohn led the Bearcats on the final day as the team shot a total of 309 in the final round to finish in 17th place in the team competition.

This has made Omni Hotels & Resorts a prominent player in major championship golf. But perhaps more importantly, it’s also served as a catalyst for providing the best possible experience for resort guests and members at all of its properties.

With his berth this season, the Farmington native is now the fourth Utah golfer in program history to compete as an individual in the NCAA Championships three times. Utah alums Dustin Pimm, Kyler Dunkle and Tristan Mandur are the only others to achieve the feat.
