Saquon Barkley ran away with the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year award after rushing for 2,005 yards, eighth-best in NFL history, in his first season with the Eagles. Barkley sat out Philadelphia’s final regular-season game when he was 101 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson’s single-season record but he has 442 rushing

Barkley was named the Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year on Thursday night. He won the vote by a landslide, securing 35 first-place votes to second-place Lamar Jackson’s 12. Barkley earned 406 points overall, while the Baltimore Ravens quarterback had just 183.

After dashing to 2,005 rushing yards and leading the Eagles to Super Bowl 59, Saquon Barkley has been named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
