Salt Lake City police say a demonstrator shot at the city's 'No Kings' protest, apparently by an event peacekeeping team, has died. At the Riverside rally, a woman was seriously injured when an SUV rammed the crowd.

Utah resident Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, was shot and critically wounded during the protest in Salt Lake City on Saturday, June 14. He later died in the hospital from his injuries, the Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed in a news release.

Detectives believe the victim was at the demonstration as a bystander and “was not the intended target of the gunfire.”
