After Scottie Scheffler's latest win at the Memorial Tournament, much of the talk coming into this week's RBC Canadian Open was how Rory McIlroy would respond in his first start since the PGA Championship.
The dip in form may be traced back to McIlroy's admission post-Masters victory of a diminished drive as he contemplates further ambitions. Ahead of the Canadian Open, McIlroy conveyed to journalists, "Yeah, I don't know if I'm chasing anything,".
