Spurs captain Son Heung-Min has joined more than half a dozen Tottenham players who have paid tribute to outgoing Australian manager Ange Postecoglou following his shock sacking.

Tottenham Hotspur players including Son Heung-Min, Guglielmo Vicario, Dominic Solanke and Micky van de Ven have paid tribute to Ange Postecoglou following his dismissal on Friday. Postecoglou was sacked with the club saying a change was necessary in order "to compete on multiple fronts."

Tottenham Hotspur has sacked manager Ange Postecoglou just over two weeks since he guided the club to the Europa League title, the club’s first trophy in 17 years and first European silverware in 41 years.

Ange Postecoglou ended Spurs' 17-year trophy drought, but his 17th-place league finish was more than the club could bear.

Ange Postecoglou will walk away from Tottenham Hotspur with his pride and his reputation intact and his place in the club's heritage assured after a two-year stint in north London. Ending the club's 17-year trophy drought by winning the Europa League made sure of that.
