Maybe Happy Ending was the big winner at the Tony Awards gala in New York Sunday, earning the accolades for Best Musical, Book of a Musical, Original Score, Scenic Design for a Musical and Actor in a Musical for Darren Criss.
Broadway is back and better than ever. That seemed to be the main message from last night’s Tony Award ceremony, capping off one of the strongest Broadway seasons in recent memory, and certainly the strongest since the 2020 lockdowns closed Broadway for over a year.
Nicole Scherzinger attended Wright State University from 1996 to 1999, studying musical theatre and acting. She won a Tony for her Broadway role in "Sunset Boulevard."
