The "WWE SmackDown" go-home show in Bakersfield before Money In the Bank was a nice appetizer before the pivotal ladder matches.

WWE advertised that every MITB competitor would appear on the show in addition to John Cena, Logan Paul, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. The only match WWE hyped for the show was a six-woman tag match featuring Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and Alexa Bliss taking on Giulia, Naomi and Roxanne Perez.
