Leipzig said Friday that the 26-year-old Baku had signed a 2½-year contract to 2027. Goretzka is a very good player. However, he does not really fit into Bayern’s system. He is best as a box to box midfielder or as a number ten. Bayern play with two sixes and a ten. He is a mediocre six and there are at least two to three players better than him at the ten.
