BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) has confirmed the death of an inmate on April 19.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation has been notified after a woman who was in the custody of a detention facility died on Saturday.
